A note of thanks to all who participated in the Rhode Island Knights of Columbus councils Day of Prayer for Peace event held last evening at St. Augustine Church in Providence. Those who attended were witness to a most beautiful, somber and prayerful remembrance of the events that devastated our country 15 years ago, and to a call for peace in our neighborhoods, our country and our world. Special acknowledgment is extended to Past State Deputy & Former Master of the 4th Degree Steve Ciolfi, the Rhode Island Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Color Guard from various Assemblies led by Color Corp Commander John Kay, RI KofC State Treasurer David Quinn, Mr. Todd Sisson, Military Chaplain Rev. Colonel Robert Marciano, RI KofC Immediate Past State Deputy Peter Lentini, Kathy Sowa, Pawtucket Mayor Donald Grebien & his wife Lauren, North Kingstown Town Manager/FDD Tom Mulligan, Rhode Island State Patrol Troopers Robert and Jeremy, Military Chaplain Fr.
